Northwestern went on 10-0 and 9-0 runs in the first half to lead 36-31 at the break.

Lindsey leads the way with 10 points, while BMac has 9. The Cats are just 3-13 on 3s, but they have gotten a lot of layups and have a 10-0 edge on points off turnovers as the Buckeyes have turned it over eight times. NU also has a 6-3 edge in offensive boards and have taken six more shots than the Bucks.

Cats didn't let some early cold shooting get them rattled. Now put the foot down and let's bury the Bucknuts in the second half.

OK... frustrating at times in that first half but no punched tvs yet at my house. This team is good enough that despite the sloppy play at times, they still lead. Tighten up and play well this second half and a victory is there for the taking!

Brown gave NU some good minutes in the first half and had 3 points, a rebound and two assists. I love that kid's fearlessness. NU ran an ISO for him in the first half and he got a layup.

Taking bad shots makes bad shooting all the worse. Wasted opportunity to make an early 2nd half statement. Gonna live and die by the spurts.

Cats gotta shoot better. Waiting for Pardon to get untracked. Loved his blocked shot though.

he just threw up a bad shot and them fouled.

We have 9 team fouls with 12 minutes left. That will be the difference in this game, unfortunately. Refs calling a foul on us on almost every possession. Just too many trips to line for OSU down the stretch coming up. Too bad.

I've decided to just enjoy the game, with the assumption that we will win. Helps with the nerves. I'm very confident in this team.

Not looking good right now. Offense is stagnant again and taking bad shots. Now OSU is making 3s to make things worse.

Pardon having one of his worst offensive games today. Can't hold onto the ball, and he's missed two or three that are a few feel out of his range.

OSU strategy was take the ball inside and make the refs call fouls and that's what they did to take advantage of home court. Ridiculous third foul call on Law set the second half tone. That kind of incidental contact hasn't been called all year.

Isaiah Brown with the ridiculous basket, then follows with a steal and layup. This kid's almost as good as Ash!

Collins said after loss to Michigan (in Indy) that they would have to overcome these types of things to get over the hump.

Up 5 with 3 mins, time to finish it.
