Second-half thread for NU vs. OSU

What a half for Chase Audige. He's 9-15 for 21 points, and many of them were tough shots. The problem is the rest of the team is 3-16 for 11 points and the Cats trail Ohio State 42-33 at the break.

Buie is 0-4 and has missed 16 straight shots over the last three games. NU is just 1-11 from distance.

For Ohio State, Dwayne Washington Jr. has 17 points and they've hit 8 of 18 from distance (44.4%). That's the difference in the game.

Sure, outside Audige going mental and Young doing his thing, there was no offense, but did we play defense at all in the first 10 minutes? Felt like there was no aggressiveness.

I really thought we had some players on this team, but they're stinking up the court. Maybe NU should Covid out of the season like PSU, 'cause they're not competitive... and UM football, cause they faced 2 more likely losses... when they have a non-competitive team, they use the chicken-**** escape route available to them.

Don't mind me, I'm just frustrated these guys don't shoot better. They HAVE shot better. Why not NOW????

I remember teams with better ball handlers than OSU has today getting double teamed on the ball all the time. One wore purple a couple of years ago.
