Where has THAT Barret Benson been all year? My goodness. Seven points and six rebounds for the big fella. Collins gave him the start as a reward for the last game, I'm sure, and man, has it paid off.

I've also been impressed with NU's defense. They've forced PSU into some tough shots and very little inside. Tony Carr -- 15 points, including some tough shots -- is keeping the Lions in the game.

It's 30-30 at the half. Let's see who comes out and takes control in the first five minutes of the second half.

Honestly, Benson looked sensational! What’s up?

Defensive breakdowns ... no depth ... letting up a big run and not being able to come back ... it’s time this season ended.

PSU not having any trouble hugging, hooking and holding our guys. Benson getting mugged at the top of the key trying to distribute.

What has happened to Skelly this year?
They were rebounding over him like he was about 5 feet tall.

Now the place is filling up! Mostly Rutgers now, tho. PSU letting us hang around critical juncture here with Pardon and Scottie getting a blow, though Carr is out now as well...

Bryant REALY needs a blow. Ugh, at least we have the media timeout...

Lindsey looked to the bench after a shot and asked Collins to call a timeout, pointing at BMac and then his own shoulder, as if to say “he hurt his shoulder.” But it looks like BMac is gonna gut it out.

Ref shouldd have swallowed his whistle then, no way yout give a guy his 5th on that. Still, was impressed by the effort, BMAC in particular.

Great effort, but this is not last year. McIntosh missed a 1-and-1 before the Lindsay play that would have given us the lead back. He wasn't doing that a year ago! Oh, and Aron Falzon needs to find his shot again. It got lost this year.

Dude, he wasn't doing that last year because he was wasn't playing with one are last year. Watching live, I was amazed he was even on the court.

Good night for me despite the loss, though. We played well (much better than my prior MSG visit)and the game experience was first class. And I met a Board member (SimpsonElmwood), which is always good...

You could see them give him way too much space out on the line because they knew he didn’t have the arm to hit a three. He gutted it out, but was obv. running about 50%.
