Second-half thread for NU vs. Wisconsin

Well, Northwestern has its work cut out for it in the second half after putting up a season-low 21 points to trail by 16. It looks like the Cats are a little tired, playing their third game in three days and coming off of the late game last night.

NU had ONE assist in the first half and shot 26% (7-27) in the first half. That tells you all you need to know right there. They need to put together one of those runs they've had the last couple games to get back in it.

I thought we got some good shots early on in the first half but they did not fall and after that we just seemed a step slow and Wisconsin pounced. Regardless of the second half, great effort in DC by the Cats!

Michigan had an even more difficult schedule, but they had legs. Hopefully there is something to be learned from this, but overall this is not good.

Not trying to make excuses, but Michigan played the first game yesterday and we played the last. That game wasn't over until after 11pm last night, and then they had to be ready again this afternoon. Flush it, as Fitz would say.

I think there should be an exception to the rule for the Illini and Iowa boards. I only lurk, but both have some of the most delusional fans that I have come across. Stark contract to the other BIG fan boards, though they all have there share of Wrasslers and Felis.
