After that rough start with four early turnovers, NU's offense played a strong first half and trail 38-32 at the break. Lindsey is hot with 15 points on 5-7 shooting and BMac shook off any rust pretty quickly -- he has 9 points and 4 assists.

Van Vliet, who didn't play in Madison, has torn up the Cats with 11 points. The Wisconsin bench, to no one's surprise, is outscoring NU's 16-0. The Badgers are carving up NU's zone pretty well -- expect some adjustments in the second half.

Put it this way: Wisconsin shot 61 percent from the floor and hit 7 of 14 3s, and they only lead by 6.

Happ is having a heck of a game on defense. Blocked Pardon and Falzon in back-to-back possessions, disrupting the offensive flow by poking the ball away from NU's players...and he's forcing double teams on the other end too.

He's really impressed me with his passing. Wisconsin was shooting on my end in the first half, and that guy is as good an interior passer I've seen.

Wiskey getting some bounces their way. Looked like Mac was fouled.

Lindsey guarding his man near the rim gets blitzed by another Wisky. Foul on Lindsey.
Wtf? Did they switch refs at the half?

They had to lengthen the game. There are 8 minutes left and it is 7:33. This, everyone is in the bonus.

Wow! We really miss Ash out there. Ash has only 13 turnovers all year. Today Mac had six turnovers. Cats are. 0-5 since Jordan Ash went down with a knee injury.
