Shows it can be done with a lot of different types of players. Doesn’t have to be top 25 guys making a huge bag. Can be above avg players that buy into an unselfish, highly efficient, team-first concept.

I know Indy football had Cuban money, but really that team was built on a bunch of lower level players who believed in their coach and won the whole thing!

It did take money....but it also took Ben. Stirtz took a HUGE paycut to follow Ben to Iowa rather than go to a Kansas or Purdue or name another big name program.

The right guys will play for less at places where they believe in who they're playing for and who will push them to get every ounce of ability out of them.
