Seeing a lot of posts on social media how Pope is the wrong guy, we keep lowering standards, yadda yadda yadda.

Look it's bad enough that those orange ******** think they're God's gift to basketball right now, but we sure as crap don't need it from BBN right now.

I've seen a lot of "fans" saying they'd rather have Cal back, or Hurley cussing people out. I just don't get it. Maybe I'm losing my edge and my standards, but I'm just blown away by the amount of BBN turning on Pope right now.

Tossing Coaches in Yr 1 is how you become Indiana.

Well.. we do have an entitled fanbase, even if it's not you or I.

I think its absurd anyone would be mad at Pope (not thay he didn't have some mistakes this game). But whatever.

I get it, it hurts letting Tennessee spank us on the main stage like that, but talking about replacing Pope is crazy talk.

People that are saying Pope is not the answer are not fans. We just need to recruit ALOT better next year. Our standard is not sweet 16s.

Until? What if he never does? This type of talk is crazy. I am not asking for Pope to leave whatsoever, but recruiting is also a part of the coaching job. If a coach can't get the type of talent that his university deserves, then he's not doing his job.

I don't think it is actually that they lost a game, it is the way they lost it that has the fans upset. I am fairly certain that most can agree they did not give their best effort. I saw a lot of standing on offense, and the rebounding, which is mostly effort, was nonexistent. People are used to seeing coaches show their emotions on the sidelines, and that just isn't Pope's style, so the fans may misinterpret that as him not caring. I'm as upset as most but I'm upset at the lack of effort and just don't understand how a team full of 5th and 6th year seniors could come out and not give that effort.

It really does get to be too much.

What do they even get from it? Or the trolls here for that matter? Personally I'd like to see the internet stripped of anonymity. If you're gonna antagonize and be a deplorable human then do it with your real name and your whole chest.

TN didn’t have better players twice … Ohio State didn’t have better players…. Ole Miss didn’t have better players …this was coaching or lack of it….

It’s a nice collection of role players. That’s all it ever really was. At the beginning of the season most people thought second weekend of the tournament would be a success. And that was assuming Robinson would be playing.

If he never does he's obviously gone.............but we are in year 1 of this thing lmfao.

It was ridiculous to assume this was going to happen right off the bat. That talk is crazy.

Those are fake *** fans. Obviously you can be upset with tonight's performance but overall you gotta be pretty happy with the season
