I wanted you to see a picture and letter from Bud Wilkinson. I wrote him and and asked for a picture. He sent the picture and media guide. I can't find the media guide, it was small and pictures in B&W.

Bud had a great command of our language, and was a Scholar, as well as being a Gentlemen and a Legendary Coach. I have boxes of Recruiting Letters that he sent to Jim, in the '50s, as well as those that he sent to all of the parents during the season. Very Classy! I also have the letters that he sent each player during the summer. He kept their fires lit and their motors running! They would make an excellent chapter in a Motivational Book. Imagine what Bud could have done with a Keyboard, in today's world!
