Sentiment Mirroring 14-15 Heading into Louisville?

Don't believe I've seen this expressed anywhere on the board but a case could certainly be made.

In both instances, the Devils headed/are heading into a tough road game against the Cards after coming off a pretty pathetic and uninspiring defensive display in a lopsided loss (to a team from Florida no less), dropping them to 2-2 in conference play. Goes without saying that there are many different circumstances this time around, especially health-wise, and a ton would have to break right in order to pick up a nice W on the road in my opinion; but, just a reminder, some perspective, whatever you want to call it, as everyone knows how the 14-15 team righted the ship. I don't know, just find it kind of an interesting parallel.

Don't see it. I see it more like KI's lone year in Durham ending in the same fashion except this team is way behind the curve and can't find a use for none of the bigs to be on the floor.
If this team don't turn it around by months end they are in for a short ride in both the ACC and NCAA tourney

I don't think anyone can say with absolute certainty what will happen, but I like our chances. Sure, we lost our poise down the stretch against FSU, but we played them very tuff for a good portion of the game. Adversity can be a wonderful teacher. Even if we lose this game, I believe our guys will be ready by the time the post season rolls around. Our season isn't over by a long shot, it's just not quite going the way we planned.

I've alluded to it and I know @dukiejay has as well in other threads.

However like said above, this team has a lot more going against it than 2015- not the least of which is having K out for an extended period of time during league play. We also have our fifth year senior captain out. Guys have not played together long and many are adjusting and not 100%. Unfortunately. Hopefully we keep chipping away here and by mid feb we are showing what we can be.

Also the 2010 team was destroyed by NCSU on Jan 20 and destroyed by Georgetown on Jan 30. Obviously this team has different circumstances and probably more adversity but it's important to keep in mind that February and March are the months that you want to see the team taking it up a notch even if they sucked before that. There are examples of other teams doing that as well.
