On Fall Sunday morning in September after breakfast in a restaurant in Spring Green, Wisconsin I noticed a small headline in the Wisconsin State Journal, "Northwestern defeats Notre Dame 17-15." I thought, what?

Just reviewed that game. We have not had such a team since. Why not? THAT was football. It's time to get the mojo back. Fitz was the linchpin on that team. Can he do it again?

Here's hoping. I have good vibes about the season. I did not have a good feeling going into last year.
