I didn't think it was possible but this football program may never compete. I don't care if you like Stoops as a human being but no one on the planet can say that he's a competent head coach. He's protected for several more years and we'll be sinking further down the sewer each and every year he stays. Does anyone honestly see a point in the future where we can even be competitive in this sport ?

Not until we get an AD that actually gives a crap about football.
UK has not been competitive for more than a half century so there is no reason to think we will be for another half century. Just look at UT and Florida. Do you think Stoops could beat either of those programs one time if you gave him 10 seasons?
