He is firmly suctioned onto Cal’s teet and has been for a few years now. When he was let go at Va Tech cal reached out to him to give him access here and that probably made his transition to media and commentating much smoother.

Greenburg was a horrible coach just a reminder
Matt Jones said on his show once that Seth sent him a very nasty message that he couldn’t even read on the air it was so bad. He claimed he and all the fans ran poor little cal off.
You can’t expect a guy whose career zenith was coaching Virginia tech (no final fours and only ONE elite eight in their entire history) to know Jack squat about what it takes to sustain a championship level program. So I’ll clue you in Seth: the #1 thing it takes, above all else, is a fanbase who holds those in power accountable for results. Without that, well… you’re just Virginia tech.
Guess I missed that show. Although, I did hear Jones say that Seth used to come up to him, and tell em he was being unfair to Cal. Pretty clear that the dude was clueless, as was Cal. Matt kept it pretty civil when critiquing Cal, and would remind everyone that he wanted Cal to stay, but that he needed to make changes. Lord Cal would have none of it.
You have to love fired bad coaches who move to TV and become the smartest coaches around.
I’d rather $het in my hands and clap than listen to him or crazy eyed Jay Wil. Both are garbage.
