insane waste of talent. they would have really had something on offense if he stayed out of trouble and developed.
From radio news that I've heard, it seems he has no interest in football or money.

Boozin' sounds more appealing to him than ballin', or should I say has sounded for years now.

Just wonder how much of this was going on while at OSU? Seems his issues were with him from the get go with the Jaquars. What a waste of talent.

Like all vices, it's a matter of dosage fellows.

Hell, one can take small amounts of strychnine and not die.
Don't know why you would, just an example.

I have an OSU buddy that said he'd see Blackmon in Stillwater at the bars on the jags off weeks.

I always thought Blackmon looked about 35 years old while he was playing at Stillwater. Now his body probably feels 40.

Pretty sad situation really. Hope we don't hear years down the road something tragic happening due to his alcoholism. Just hard to watch since he had just unreal talent. Heartbreaking since years down the road the guy could have huge regrets over turning his back on what could have been a stellar NFL career.
