Man, this is some great news and our 2017 class is looking fantastic! Love it when the Oklahoma guys are staying in-state to play. This is a great get for OU - he's so highly rated (#3 Center) and highly sought after (Bama, Houston, ut, A&M, OSU). Great job Coach Bedenbaugh!!!

And some other news.....Grant Blankenship, DE, Notre Dame, former 4 star from Colony HS, Tx, has enrolled at OU. He played 11 games as a true freshman, only 3 last year. 6'3" 292 #'s.

Word is out he does carry some baggage (negative) along with him........

yeah...just read that he was suspended for team rules...that could be a ton of things. Looks like he was recruited by Kerry to go to ND.

I'm drawing a blank on the coach Kerry. Help me out.

I read where he didn't participate in summer workouts. A ND fan said the players wanted him out of the locker room. Just shuttle butt...........

He is if he's like his Daddy. I've known that family since forever. Great people. His father, Chad, was an All-American wrestler for UCO at 190 pounds, I believe.

I remember the father's name. Does he also have a brother that wrestled? Memory serves me he may have signed with OU, then transfer to UCO? What weight did Chad wrestle at, because his son is YUGE............

Yeah, Chad has a little brother, but I don't remember him being as successful in wrestling as Chad. Chad wrestled at 190 in college, I believe. I'm not sure where he went first, although OU is a plausible answer. He was a stud in high school as well. He took second at Nationals his senior year at UCO, but lost that match on a weird call IIRC.
