Happened in Union, SC today. I'd post a link, but you can easily search it. And there's not much more to read than I've said here.

He was arrested for speeding (86 in a 55), possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of an illegal firearm.

And I see on TBS that some folks are blaming the police and saying it was an illegal search and seizure. I swear it just proves my opinion that some of our fan base are complete brain dead morons.

There were also arguments being made over there about how ridiculous it is to lock folks up for simple marijuana possession which I agree with and more change definitely needs to happen on a federal/state level but it seems this was more than that.

Not sure this is correct. Not saying he was perfect, but I wouldn’t characterize him as a bad apple. He stayed out of trouble at school and was coachable.

Dealing a controlled substance and having an illegal firearm doesn't represent a bad apple to you? Gee, what does it take to make a bad apple in your book? You have some really low standards man.

I was responding to the “bad apple on the football squad”, not his current situation. His current situation is inexcusable and stupid. However, I do not recall him getting in trouble in HS or during his time at Carolina. I am getting older, and may not remember any suspensions or the such. If you have such memories, I’ll gladly retract my statement.

Otherwise before you insult my standards, be sure you know what you are addressing.

Has anyone seen what's going on at Spring Break in Miami? UH, the mayor has laid blame...you can research it for yourself.

His involvement with guns, drugs and gang members didn't just start recently.

I never said he was a choir boy. Never said he didn’t do things he shouldn’t. Never said he didn’t take part in things or associate with folks he shouldn’t. I am fully aware that these issues didn’t start when he left Carolina.

What I said was he had no issues while in high school or at Carolina. Calling him a bad apple while in the program implies that he had a negative effect on the program. Yet, I don’t recall any of that happening at Union County or at Carolina. There are some folks who are able to compartmentalize aspects of their lives. He is one that has done so.

Not condoning his actions. Not condoning his choice in cohorts. He made his choice, so he deserves whatever punishment he receives. Unfortunate as it is, I also don’t see this changing his path.

Speeding+gun+weed+getting locked up. Simple maths.

PTI and move on with life. Not a big deal.
Not sure if he can unless they drop the gun charge and the drug charge needs to be simple possession. I bet the gun charge goes away. If he legally owns the gun, how can you even be carrying it illegally in your car? I wouldn't expect any real trouble. Slap on the wrist, either way.

What's illegal gun mean? If he wanted a gun, go buy one. It's not like they're hard to get.
