I’m baffled why Pope of all coaches didn’t bring more shooters on this year, it makes his offense completely inept without at least two snipers out there.

Kam Williams might be the biggest mystery to me so far. Even if it was at Tulane, shooting 41% on 153 attempts last year should be enough of a sample size to indicate some shooting capability. So far this year, he’s putting up air balls on completely unguarded looks. It would really help us if he could rediscover his stroke since he’s one of our few players who’s looked capable of playing defense so far.

Yes, I dont know why Pope went away from what he wants to do offensively. He wanted to improve defense, but you cannot have a bunch of guys that cant shoot consistently in his offense.

And these guys can’t defend, why are we still trialing shooters on screens???? That’s exactly what they want you to do and our dribble handoffs with the bigs gets us nothing.
