Should Eric Swalwell be kicked out of congress for his connections to Chinese spies?

She reportedly had sex with him on camera and blackmailed him. She put a Chinese spy on his campaign. Swalwell defended China several times the last 4 years. China is bragging about having friends very high in DC. As a country, can we allow this kind of relationship to be swept under the rug? Do we just let China buy us off and not even fight it?

This isn't political and shouldn't be moved to the politics thread. Either we punish Chinese spies or stop being a free nation and the leader of the free world.

Not necessarily for the spy issue, but, if it can be proven that he sharted in public, then he honestly should resign as a matter of honor.

Sharting is unacceptable behavior from a drunk next to you at the bar, and even more unacceptable for a United States Congressman.

Post it in the political thread and you will get lots of answers
Politics would assume that this is one side vs another. So are you saying its OK for a certain group of people to make money from Chinese spies? Or do you think any politician is free to sell their vote to the ChiComs? Really curious about this line of thinking with what looks like treason. How is treason and espionage political and not national security?

It's political in that he DGAF if it's a member of his political party that is guilty. In this case, associated with and compromised by an enemy spy.

Especially this one (Fartwell), who was one of the point men delivering the constant lies about "Russian collusion" the last 4 years. As always, it's a 99.9% certainty that this filthy bunch is already doing exactly what they accuse their opponents of doing.

In fact, it is the downfall of our country, and it is much more prevalent than just this one case. I wish it was taken seriously by ALL Americans.

All traitors deserve the same punishment, political party is irrelevant.

NSA needs to be on top of this. Israel and Russia have also planted lots of spies in lots of industries. And while they’re at it maybe we can stop training Saudis how to fly planes and train at our military bases.

Also I am pretty sure that she was not convicted as a true "spy" as you say. She lived here and was involved with a lot of government offices and ultimately was charged only because she had not registered through the proper channels with the Justice Department. She was sentenced for less than two years and released to be sent back home after only a few months. A little different than our Chinese counterpart who was sleeping her way with Swalwell who is on the Intelligence Committee [roll]

Pelosi is trying to cover for Swalwell. The old hag just accused the Rep minority leader of interacting with "Qanon", which is an internet conspiracy theory. An idea discussed on message boards! Not to be confused with the "idea" Joe Biden labeled Antifa, the organized commie thugs who killed, assaulted, and destroyed cities. Yeah, that should sweep this under the rug for the left. ChiCom spies, nothing to see here. This country is f**ked.

How many other congressmen have had inappropriate relationships and weren’t kicked out? Probably quite a few.

Any who were potentially compromised by a foreign enemy and weren’t at least stripped of security clearances are a national security threat. We may even have a new president who falls into this category, not that any dem would know wtf I’m talking about because the MSM suppressed that story, but it is finally starting to come out.

Try decaf. Swalwell screwed up, reported it to the FBI. If working with unregistered foreign agents is a death sentence there’s going to be a lot of turnover in DC.

Anyone who works on the Intel Committee who is sharing secrets with anyone else not on the Committee (wife, girlfriend, neighbor, mistress, aides, etc.) is too stupid to be on that committee and should immediately have their security clearance revoked. The voters in his district will deal with his stupidity in 2022. Anyone with integrity would resign (wouldn't hold my breath on anyone in Congress exhibiting something as foreign as 'integrity' anytime soon). Don't think it rises to the level of treason from what I've read, just incredible stupidity. It's not like he was copying documents and giving them to the Chinese, was he? Very poor judgment. Should be consequences, for sure, but execution seems just a bit over the top.

Swalwell is still on the intel committee. It's amazing that people will let their politics interfere with what should be a pretty clear case. It's not like his seat would even be in doubt. It's just a matter of how many Chinese spies are in his organizations. Dems could easily replace him with someone that isn't compromised.

Feinstein's driver was outed as a Chinese spy a few years ago. Here he is with Swalwells honeypot. Why isn't the FBI rolling these people up? If they aren't going to make arrest they can at least expel them from the country.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/20/world/asia/china-cia-spies-espionage.html

18 US spies died or disappeared from 2010 to 2012.

China has been particularly aggressive in its espionage in recent years, beyond the breach of the Office of Personnel Management records in 2015, American officials said. Last year, an F.B.I. employee pleaded guilty to acting as a Chinese agent for years, passing sensitive technology information to Beijing in exchange for cash, lavish hotel rooms during foreign travel and prostitutes

It's not like our intel agencies don't know whats going on they just seem to not really care unless its for small targets.

He was a city councilman at the time and cooperated with the FBIs investigation. Dumb as hell but also old info that is now being propagandized to create outrage.

Our "president elect"'s son took money from China and other foreign governments for access to the "big guy" (Joe B.), per witness and physical evidence. Meanwhile, our wonderful media yawned.

There were several porn videos leaked to porn sites of Hunter Biden smoking crack while having explicit sex with what appeared to be underage girls. Can you say compromised? Those videos were quickly taken down.

It appears that the media and all of the alphabet agencies are bought and paid for, as well as many, hell maybe even most of our politicians. Another reason Trump is the only "politician" I think actually had the best interest of our country. And the Oligarchs are fully on board for the leftist, globalist push. It benefits them financially.

I'm sure this **** has been going on for years at some level, but the curtain is now pulled back and I am honestly shocked at the near total corruption of government and media in America.
