Should Lowe start against UL

Oweh, Chandler, and Aberdine is a great defensive trio at the 1-3 and if Chandler goes to the bench our 3 point shooting is sub-par among the starters.
I like Lowe but I really like Aberdine; he's like a guard version of MoD. I think I'd keep Lowe coming off the bench. Thoughts?

Im a big fan of Chandler, but if Lowe is good, Chandler should be the 6th man. He will still get starter minutes
If Lowe starts I'd be in favor of Aberdine being the one coming off the bench since Aberdeen is the best point besides Lowe. It's harder to get the playing time right if the starters aren't getting 32 mpg+ when your backup point also starts since they'll both need rest at the same time if both start. If both start and play 26-28 mpg(likely) we'll spend quite a bit of time with our 3rd best point running the point.
We're also a better 3 point shooting team with Chandler on the floor.
Honestly, if it were my decision all 4 would be starters; I'd start the game with Lowe or Aberdine coming off the bench, start the one off the bench
the 2nd half, and reverse the order game to game. That way both could consider themselves starters and we'd always have our 2nd best point ready to sub in when the other gets tired, hurt, foul trouble etc.

Lowe is our PG, start him.
I can't really argue with that but I still feel if Lowe starts Chandler should still start because Oweh, Aberdine, and Lowe starting would be a starting five with 0 great 3 point shooters in an offense that produces a lot of 3 point shots and no true point on the bench.

Im good with Chandler starting and DA as 6th man. Same deal, plenty of minutes for both guys. And really, that works out better, because you really want DA subbing in more minutes at PG IMO

Aberdeine didn't miss a shot from the floor friday. He doesn't take bad shots. He's a lock down defender, and Lousiville's strengths are their guards. Start him.

Yeah, the long term starters are almost certainly Lowe, Aberdeen, Oweh and we bring Chandler and JJ in as the main subs. Nobody averages 30+ minutes. Noah and Kam are competing for who's the last guy getting significant minutes at the 3/small ball 4.

Lowe
Aberdeen
Oweh
Chandler
Johnson
Garrison
Moreno
Mo D

The 8 above are all going to get close to 20 minutes per game. Some just over and some just short. It doesn’t really matter who starts.

Kam I don’t expect to play much. Same with Trent. Jelavic is the wild card.

I think we will be fine either way, if they go after Lowe’s shoulder, I’d go after Pryor knee. Nah, Kentucky doesn’t play like that but you can already see how he is, a roster filler with a big mouth, not much else. Also I’ll take seniors over freshman any day with Oweh or Aberdeen on Brown and feel good about it.

Lowe's shoulder wrap scares me. I don't want our best point guard to get hurt anymore but when he's out there, he's got to be extra careful.

Of all the teams, UofL would try to do something nasty to Lowe....
