Should we hope for a lot of fouls being called this year ? As deep as we are would a game of attrition not work in our favor ?

Why not, it works for Auburn and Alabama. The refs seem to swallow their whistles when thise two teams take the court.
Fouls seem to slow things down and allow the lesser team to hang around. Its always seemed to be an equalizer to me. So id rather see less fouls and let our talent and depth run them off the floor.
Exactly. Our advantage most games will be quality depth, we want a fast, high scoring game
The rogue refs are now targeting the one or two players we could least afford to lose early in games. Last season it was Oweh quite a bit. The way they overcome the overall quality depth we have on a lot of teams.
Complete side note: It's interesting that the Honda Civic is one of the most popular cars to transform into a street racer. Not sure why. There's a ton of them in those Fast and Furious movies.

Yep, the refs are the real show. They should do bio segments, interviews, even star ratings for the refs.
Agreed, refs should have to answer questions after games just like the coaches do.
MLB umpires get evaluated on how accurate they are with calling balls and strikes, not publically, but at least they are being evaluated.
Maybe college officials are being evaluated, don't know, it certainly doesn't seem like it.
