Here's a little snippet about who's turn it is to coach, from K, for the THR boys:
"There’s grumbling all the time about everything. It's not about whose turn it is. It's about what USA Basketball feels would be best. So it just turned out that I've coached this long. But USA Basketball named Gregg Popovich well before my time was done, and I love that he's going to do it. The credibility that he’ll bring to our program as we go forward is immense, besides his talents."
And here is my take on Coach K and USA basketball. Hail to the King, baby! It's all about the GOLD!

Wonder why they didn't get Roy for this? He probably turned it down so he would not get the unfair recruiting advantage. Wants to win the right way. Good for him.
He's turned it down at least four times. They took Coach K because they couldn't get hof coach roy williams to commit. t's all about unc to him and preparing his family for life in the future whether it's the NBA, leadership our nation or just working in the community. He doesn't need to lead our USA team to Olympic gold to inflate his ego. That's what makes hof coach roy williams not only the most interesting man in the world but the most fascinating also. OFC
Sorry I left off leaders of men. How could I overlook that. If I were a unc I would get a petition started demanding that hof coach roy williams be our next men's national basketball coach. Let him pick his own staff and players. Keep it in the family just to show the world how it should be done. OFC
