Last of the mullet men of hockey. Seems like a good dude, too bad.

My grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in her 50’s. It’s a ruthless disease. Watching her go from a very independent, strong willed woman to depending on family to do most things for her was tough for everyone, especially her. Best of luck to Barry. He always seemed like a good guy.

I have a friend with Huntington’s disease. You read how awful it is and it’s 100 times worse than that.

Yes it is. Sorry to hear about your friend. I have a friend whose father passed away about a year ago from it. It’s devastating.

Sad news. I’ve always enjoyed Melrose. If not mistaken, cousins with Wendel Clark and Joey Kocur. Not a family reunion you’d want to get caught crashing.

Parkinson‘s sucks. My dad has it. The therapeutics have come along way in the 14 years since he’s been diagnosed. Currently he has some shaking in the hands and some cognitive issues but all in all he’s not bad for being 14 years in and 78.

If anyone has a relative or friend with Parkinson’s with cognitive issues I suggest asking about Nourianz. It’s been a miracle drug for him. It’s fairly new He went from almost incoherent and not being able stand or walk labor day 2022 to being fairly mobile and an average 78 yr old mentally.

My 54 year old wife and 59 yo best friend from high school have it. He is really starting to suffer from it with mobility and speech issues. Wifey is in excellent shape and just has a tremor in her right hand. Sure hope they figure out a cure soon

Melrose's do doesn't qualify as a mullet. The be a mullet, hair has to be short on the sides.

That aside, sad to hear. Always liked Melrose. Wouldn't wish Parkinson's on anyone, except Mushmouf.
