The ice cream vendors usually close up as soon as the game ends. They probably have surplus soft serve mix that normally gets thrown away or something. So I seriously doubt Coach paid $6.50 a cone. Probably got a heavily discounted rate because of the bulk buy. Just going by the pictures, I would estimate 1500 or so people stuck around for the radio show. If half those folks got ice cream, I’d say he still paid around $2000-3000. An awesome gesture!!

Great gesture regardless if he didn't have to pay a dime. Coach Pope absolutely understands the program and it's fans. Indicates he wants to be here a while
