Don’t believe me? Even after the attack on Pearl Harbor the vote to declare war was 388-1. And one of my favorite lessons on leadership was one shared by my father:

“Jay, even Christ only kept 11 of his 12 apostles in the fold. If he couldn’t get unanimous approval, what hope is there for the rest of us?”

Speaking of change, I hear that we’re in the market for a new Director of Football Gameday Operations.

I wonder if Penn State ever had the Summer of George when GeorgePa was around.

Who do I see about getting the 3 mins back in my life I spent reading Jay's tripe?
I didn't read it myself, but by now everyone here can either take Jay or leave him. He has no real power, no voice of much significance. He does care, though.

'What separates great leaders is intent.'

I mean, there a lot of innate characteristics of great leadership, but intent would be pretty far down the list IMO.

i disagree. Jay is correct in that "intent" is everything when it comes to leadership. Why decisions are made and what is the expected outcome of those decisions is entirely based on their "intent". All too often their "intent" is for personal gain.
