Would be a drastic change. The guy is not mobile, but is a qb who can throw.

As much as I prefer that in a qb, one has to wonder about the mix of an immobile qb and our OL.

A QB who can throw, though, might actually force defenders to back off a bit. And, let's be honest, Sellers is highly mobile and how much of a difference did that make for us?

If Sellers wants to dance around and play contract negotiation, Beamer should bring Hoover in for a visit. Great negotiation tactic.

I agree completely. I am wondering if we shouldn't just pursue Hoover anyway.

My default thought with a weak OL is to get a mobile qb to keep plays alive. But Sellers of last year didn't show that as a good move.

Maybe a qb who can make decisions, and throw the ball to our WR's, not to mention quickly, would counter the OL woes better.
