Everyone must wear a mask when in a public place.
I don’t think sports can function with everyone having to wear face masks.

.

Many state governors has many phases/steps on how they will handle this virus. This phase might only last a month or so. If this virus spikes up again then Fall sports will be cancelled . Kids will not be at schools. Staying home doing on-line classes again.

Will the mask be worn inside the helmet or over the face-guard? :chairshot:

Is that imbecile going to wear another blackface mask, so as to set an example? Sorry, that was just paint, not a mask. What a loser. What kind of an idiot does that? I might be a right wing anti-SJW but I have never once even thought about doing something so stupid as that.

I thought Virginia was out of play in November, but this one is going to make it close with his idiocy. At this point, I would not surprised if Trump takes Illinois, after downstate has 90 percent turnout. People are getting sick of this ****.

The Gov of Virginia is dangerous.
...and a hypocrite to boot. There was a post on the Political Thread over the weekend with photos showing that Governor Blackface Infanticide was in a crowd of people NOT wearing a mask and NOT following social distancing protocols.

He’s single-handedly making me want to move. I really love how he’s doing this more than two months after COVID showed up here, especially since he made no note of how long this mask mandate will last. I’m convinced we will be forced to wear masks in restaurants with 1/3 capacity while many states are fully opened up. Screw this guy.

I would love to know if this is even legal.

The focus is "indoors".

Not outside.

I wish he would let businesses decide for themselves, thus allowing people to choose which businesses they wish to patronize.

If you are not a mask wearer, it would be nice to have the freedom to visit establishments that don't require you to wear them. I went to a barbecue place 2 weeks ago, and ZERO of the employees were wearing masks, even those preparing food. I thanked the man at the counter for not wearing them.

If people want to throw up a "no mask; no service" sign, then that is on them. It will attract the clientele they want, and others will avoid it. If another business wants to be a "mask optional" place, then let them operate in that fashion. The restaurants are already being required to reduce capacity, etc., which is hurting their business. Mask mandates will keep others away, who don't want to be out in public in masks, and will avoid restaurants, etc., unless it's absolutely necessary.

Sadly, you can't even get the media to ask: "How long will the masks be required?" Apparently, those sickos want permanent masks to be part of the "new normal".

Hopefully, a business owner sues soon, and gets the ball rolling.

If all the Republicans who voted for Trump in '16 had showed up to vote against this clown, we wouldn't have this mess.

Unfortunately, too many Virginia conservatives ignore state and local politics, thinking it doesn't impact them.

Now, we are seeing the results of that apathy.

Sadly, Virginia has no real conservative leadership.

It's a very "purple" state, but there is no clear party head.
its alot like Kentucky. The beltway there and Louisville here skew things. If you just look at a blanket county by county map, generally going to be mostly red. But yes demographics of Virginia, and North Carolina too, seem to be changing.

Well u make the kid comfortable before u kill it. Thats that liberal compassion

I hope there is a special place for people like that when they die and they are forced to watch Donald Trump press conferences for all eternity. That would be the thing that would torment them the most anyway.

Sort of looks like the nation, as a whole.

Large swaths of red, with large, blue metro centers.
