Hey Grumpy, question for you...we are trying to get Nelson(DEnd from Florida) and you guys had him in for a visit this past weekend. He is currently committed to Syracuse and he clearly is a back up plan for you guys at best if you don't get Burns.
From what i've read it seems Burns is a Florida lean so the chances are you aren't getting him. If you don't get him, do you think you will offer Nelson? Or is it really tied to other recruits as well?

With 12 spots open and 2 days to signing day our board is crazy right now. Burns is a big target for us, its FSU by the way, UF is supposed to be out, and it looks like he is leaning to FSU. I don't really know much about Nelson other than he enjoyed Sat. night in Athens and no idea if he gets an offer. We have 1 commited at the position now, and are reasonably deep at the position. With next year being a big year for LB in Georgia the staff may go in a different direction if Burns goes elsewhere. But I don't know, signing day for us is chaos, Richt was always done by Christmas and we were just trying to hold on now, this year we are trying to fill the class so he may get one with or without Burns to get numbers.
I'd like a Spring FB season with games early from March to end of May with 4th of July bowl games in northern cooler climes - Anchoage, Fairbanks, Seattle, Twin Cities, Chicago, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, London. I mean spread the wealth & fun. Could have completely separate teams for Spring & Fall, even different coaching staffs.
