- The smell of fresh cut grass
- A ghost **** that requires two wipes with the 2nd only being for insurance
- the sound of a no rim net rip from 3
- singing along to a song in the car and hitting perfect harmony on the high notes
- waking up with energy in the morning (Ha yea right)
- stopping the gas pump on an exact dollar amount first time

- The smile on my dog's face on the drive back home after a long walk, her head poking out the side window and taking it all in.

- The flushed feeling after a long workout or run, and taking a cool shower afterwards.

- That first bite into a seared steak with a little crunch on the outside and the tender sweetness of the middle.

- Those rare moments where something makes you laugh so much you lose control and just can't stop.

Knowing my kids are successful and happy in their lives
waking up and not hearing wife ***** about anything I done the night before after a beer binge
Chillin with my german sheps while having a cold slushy beer
grillin and smokin
being an old guy that can still control his piss and bowels
many simple pleasures for me, these are just a few...

A long run in brutal heat and humidity —hate that part.

But then when you are soaked with sweat, and so dehydrated your tongue feels swollen, heading straight to the back porch, and taking the very first center bite out of a slice of perfectly ripe, perfectly crisp ice cold watermelon.

That feeling when you teach your child something they did not understand. Even when she is an adult who is both smarter and far more educated than yourself.

Truthfully though, I get more enjoyment these days out of her helping me understand things that are out of my sphere of knowledge.

Sappy, I know. But it is the truth. :)

Waking up thinking it's about time to go to work and remembering you're off that day.

My dogs jumping on me when I get home. Unconditional love you get from your pets is one of the greatest things in the world.

Being in some hole in the wall bar, with a nice buzz going, and listening to some band as old as me singing the music I grew up with.

Going down the hill to the old home place where I grew up. Reminiscing about family and friends who have gone on.

The first cool breaths of Fall. Heaven.
