Coaching and Qb, no one is saying anything about the offensive line. Perhaps we need to find solutions outside WV. Leddie can’t run and Qb gets killed because OL is Not doing their job. I would think maybe those positions need to be looked at. And I am from WV and a WVU grad so don’t go there.

I am. The O-line is the worst ever in WVU history.

Did you watch any of the practice film? Everyone was running around like a bunch of girls giggling at an Easter Egg hunt. Brown was yacking it up like Peter Cottontail. It was embarrassing. This team is soft. The soft WVU team I have ever seen and I have been watching them since 1972.

WVU has NEVER been good when the starting OL are mostly FRESH & SOPH..... They are talented, I think in 1-2 years they could become one of the best OL we have ever had at WVU, but they are showing their age now. Zach(True Soph), Milum(True Fresh), Nester(True Jun), Gmiter(Jun), Yates & Moorer (RS Soph),

The incoming OL are good, which will add depth, but in reality, no matter how good a freshmen may be, This staff should never be in a position to start a Freshmen on the OL.

WVU has always been a developmental program that recruits at a lower level and relies on maturity & development of players to play mostly JUn & Sen on the OL with Highly talented Fresh & Soph being #2 on the depth chart.

The good news, we get this OL back for a few more years, thats a lot of improvement, far from peaking as a unit. Just experiencing growing pains of recruiting better players and getting them developed. A long & painful process. Just gotta be patient.

Youth I get. But hit someone, get a little nasty. It gets tiring every year we say next year. Year 3 you have to make a move towards marked improvement.

We have some real talent on the OL, but a horrible OL coach who hasn't improved a single player since he's been here. His job is to take raw talent and turn it into skill, and he is failing miserably, just like Brown is overall.

The O-line as been playing like ****. Those WV linemen were 4 stars and got offers from everyone. Maybe the O-line coaching could a problem.

That's what I've been saying. Does anyone know if Trickett is available?

You must be thinking of someone else‘s OL 😂. Do you even follow WVU football?

Has anyone thought that maybe it isn't even O-line coaching?

From what I've seen, scheme and technique aren't really major problems.

The real trouble lies with the INABILITY to move players - that was on full display in the LIU game when we outweighed them by 50 pounds per.

Maybe, just maybe, the real answer lies in the strength and conditioning program. This has been a problem since the Holgy days and it still is today. Young players who are strong can move people. Older ones who aren't can't.

We can't and haven't - in years.

Bring back Mike Barwis or someone like him, please.

I thought it was the O line coach needs fired as does the OC. Brown needs to be HC and not OC.

It's either the o-line coaching or the strength and conditioning or both.

You could have a Corvette chassis but if you pair it with a Chevette motor its just not the same. We haven't been able to horsepower anyone since Joseph has been here. He does great on agility, but the horsepower is missing.

We need to hit the transfer portal and JUCO ranks hard for a QB and as many offensive linemen as we can find because we will never have more than 4-6 wins with this group out there.

Also, rotate some other RBs in to give Leddie a rest and to get some new guys some experience when LB is gone next year (yes he'll be gone).

Finally, hire an OC that can call plays and manage the clock.

Basically, there's only 2-3 players on offense that are worthy of starting at the p5 level.
