I became a fan during the middle of Tubbys years. Quick question because I don’t want to be saying things that aren’t true.

This is the first time as a UK fan that I remember getting our *** kicked by twenty on a regular basis. Happened last year more than it should of and had happed twice four games in year two.

Did BCG get punked like this as often? This is new to me so I’m just making sure my memory is right.

You don't have to go back as far as BCG. In 2023-2024 we lost by 26, 16, 15, and 14. In 2020-2021 we lost by 20, 17, 12, and 12. After our championship, in 2012-2013 we lost by 30, 17, 16, 14, 13, and 12.

So far this season we have lost one game by double digits, last night, by 17 points. Last season we did lose by 29, 20, 16, 14, 13, 13, and 13. More bad losses than in any Calipari season, but not so much so as to stand out.

During BCG's two years tenure the worst losses were by 41, 19, 19, 18, 16 14, 14, 13, and 11 and we did lose to the likes of Virginia Military Institute.

In my lifetime I've watched Rupp, Hall, Sutton, Pitino, Tubby, BCH, Cal and now Pope. I've never seen any UK team just not compete until Pope.

And not just last night. Every Uk coach has his *** handed to him by a better team.

I hated every minute of the Tubby era after year one. But I never saw a Tubby team just go out with no effort.
