Awwwwwwwww sh*t. Dammit. She had a really rough childhood (abusive mother) and she just wasn't built for everything that goes with the entertainment industry. A phenomenal voice and talent; it's not that well known because it paints Prince in a very bad light, but she's shared a story on a few occasions about him becoming violent with her to the point where she had to 'escape' his property.

Her version of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' is wonderful. RIP.
