Sit Willie the rest of the game.

He just doesn't seem to be in the game, mentally. I'd send a message and sit him down. He has NPOY ability, and needs to play with the energy and desire every single game. If we are gonna reach the goals the team has set this season, we need WCS playing at a high level.

He has been a little out of position tonight but kinda hard to get up for a team we drilled by 50. Our bigs need some individual workout because they have regressed a little.

Actually he was 100% correct. I love Willie, but he's been a no show tonight.

WCS has done his usual solid D, but overall he has been lacking tonight. I'm shocked to see he has ZERO fouls tonight. In a game like this I'm not sure how he managed that.

Only Wes Clark for Mizz and Tyler Ulis for UK have accomplished a similar feat tonight.

He hasn't been great in conference this year, and I imagine it has to do with the athletes in the SEC. He struggled at this point last year and lost his starting job to Dakari. I dunno if it's a confidence issue, but I love the guy, and really want him to be the player we know he can be.

Willie literally did not move on two defense possesions that gave Missouri a dunk and layup. Something was not right for sure tonight.

I agree about Willie looking disinterested in this game, but his intensity, energy, hustle, effort and heart should never be questioned. Make no mistake, when the game matters or is doubt, Willie will be playing harder than anyone on the court.

His d was not solid. He gave up at least 10 points he usually would have stopped. He had maybe 2 rebounds and 0 blocks and 0 points. At 7 feet playing against 2 lumbering bafoons in post and russburg you'd think he'd at least get 1 blocks and a half dozen rebounds by chance alone. I'm never one for saying Willis deserves someone else's minutes but tonight when Willie was clearly not feeling it cal should have done what he says and put someone who's not playing with energy and hands up on the bench and someone who WILL in. Or hell how about hawkins who did NOTHING wrong and sat almost the whole 2nd half?

I wonder if Willie is a bit down because we run almost zero offensive sets for him. I would imagine that gets a bit frustrating. Plus, the lobs have been pretty much nonexistent for quite some time. Willie was playing well offensively until we hit SEC play. I would imagine frustration has set in a bit.

Saw WCS in position to receive lobs tonight but guards did not get it up for him. Saw this several times. Now his defensive rotation was not so good.

Guess what games over, on to the next one. Sitting him would have done nothing. This team is a team...I think it's been pretty del explanatory minutes aren't a factor or a motivator on this team. These threads pop up every yr for no reason. Actually there were wcs ones last yr. As always they are absurd.
