what ya got .

I’m going Cherokee has improved a ton since missing a great shot to beat north buncombe . Smokey is rolling and will be at home. Should be a huge crowd and close game . Cherokee has displayed weapons of throwing and running . Evans is a load and Crowe is throwing it well with three solid weapons to throw to in Santa Maria , smith and Mintz . Can’t wait

Cue up Robbinsville fans bashing and go

Is the QB battle over? Always thought Crowe deserved the nod over an incoming transfer. From his stats he has really played well and Mintz is there for that insurance. It is about impossible to gauge these 2A-3As. NB took on Cherokee after the hangover so Cherokee shouldn’t be looking past this game. This could be a the game of the week. Wish this was match up was on TV. Rabun Gap game is at 4:30....too early to make it worth the drive. Good luck.

Isnt it easy to win a job when other qb gets hurt lol they should have picked one qb game 1 not rotate each qtr.

Why would Robbinsville fans bash this post ? I'm curious, I'm new to ncpreps and out of the loop. Why would Robbinsville care who wins that game ?

I know everyone bashes Swain for a beat down this season but we just did not show up in any way that game. Got down early with turnovers and smoky showed no class with keeping in their starters in and trying to score at way possible until the end of the game. Even threw a td pass on a defense with subs in the secondary on 4th and goal with 2min remaining. They are not 50pts better than us. They are maybe 10-14 points better at that time. But that was on the score board in week two. Fatigue was a factor in that game after a physical game with Tuscola. They had an easy game with Andrews. No depth will do that to a team. Cherokee coming off an easy win. Smoky at home coming off a bye week. Cherokee with all of the trash talk and the karma factor this game will get out of hand so I would say Smoky by 21.

. Haha not much humble pie from anyone in these posts. Oh well all in good fun. Just a reminder, we are talking about KIDS and coaches that make no money for what they do. Keep it classy and clean if at all possible.

Yup! All that talk let’s see if Cherokee can back it up. Just to warn you, Smoky coach knows that point differential and max prep ratings go into playoff rankings. That’s why they ran up the score with starters when we shut it down. I would expect them to show no class and will do that to Cherokee if they get a chance.

Cherokee can establish the run we could keep it close . One thing that concerns me is out best lineman didn’t play last week not sure why . We need him

I’m not bashing any certain team. I just don’t do that. But karma has a way of getting you sometimes. We had a powerful team come to Andrews several years ago, they could and did blow us out and rightfully so. This team made it to the state championship and was defeated, that’s how good they were. The opening play of the game against us they did a dbl reverse pass play for a touchdown. That was totally part of the game but it left a bad taste in my mouth knowing they could have played their subs and beat us but they opened the game with a trick play. Now I hear some of the teams that say they don’t like how other teams run the score up or left their starters in the game into the 4th Qtr. Well you know how it feels now. Go out and win the game, that’s fine. Give your starters all the reps they need but when the game is clearly out of hand show some class. For some day they will be a time that those top teams are down and I’m sure karma will bite you. It might not be Andrews but some team that you destroyed and maybe started with a trick play or left the starters in deep into the game that team will return the favor. It might take many years but it will happen. Moral of this story is show a little class and do the right things like the old school coaches once did. Good luck to all the SMC

For what it's worth I was looking at last week's Simmons Power Ratings..He takes one teams power rating and subtracts it from the opposing teams rating and that is the spread and prediction..He then gives the home team 2 extra points. Smoky has a rating of 108.. Cherokee is 88..He will be predicting a 22+ point win for Smoky..He is so accurate sometimes you don't even wanna watch the game ..He's around 87% accurate over the last 5 years.

I will be pulling for Cherokee but I don't see them pulling the upset.

It had to Robbinsville Murphy or swain. I know Cruz took it upon himself to fake a punt at Andrews one night , with the game well in hand and Walsh pitched a fit. Talked to Cruz pretty rough and told him he had embarrassed himself and our school. Andrews fans thought Walsh called it which he 100 % did not.

I don’t remember that or even hearing of it. I don’t want to call anyone out and I just wanted everyone to think about it. You know I felt good for Cherokee last year. When that group of young men were Freshmen & Sophomores they had some tough years. They stayed together and worked their butt off. You know they had to feel good about getting redemption for the loses they had when they were rebuilding. If the bottom tier teams complain about the big 4 running the score up they are ridiculed. But it’s ok for them to use the same message when they are having a down season. I was just trying to make a pointI guess you could say

All I done was come on here and take up for Cherokee cause I'm born and raised here and know a couple things!! Your just use to runnin that stupid big fat mouth and no one from here sayin anything back to you!!!! You told me you hope God has mercy on my soul for trashin His bride, I hope He has mercy on you for bein a trashy bride!! Bk I'm not tha 1 to sit back and let you run your stupid mouth son!!!

I haven't got to see smokey play this year to say if we'd beat them or not, hate to say this but I don't see us fightin a 21 point deficit this year tho!!
