Do any of y’all have access to a cabin pretty high up on a mountain that you rent out? I go every October but can’t never get up on the mountain as high as I would like and some of the prices are pretty ridiculous for the cabins I have looked at and what they offer.

My wife and I did the hike once, we didn’t stay there though. We filled our water bottles from their well, coldest crispest water I have ever drank.
I say this from a position of knowledge: touch being up high in a cabin. The last one we rented was maybe 1,000 feet from a main road, and maybe a half-mile from the main strip in pigeon forge. Way more convenient, and had the same exact feel.
