Is Lamar simply unable to take a snap from under center?

If so a power running game is impossible out of shotgun formation.

Being one dimensional leaves us dead on blitz plays.

A QB's ability to run with the football, is a threat when: 1. A defense hasn't prepared for it. 2. When a QB gets outside the pocket. 3. When a QB is a legitimate threat to throw the ball.

With that said, we do throw nice slant and mesh routes...

When we went to the 3 step slant the offense was moving.

Jackson is still inconsistent as a passer, especially on short routes wide, and tends to lean on what worked in high school - his athleticism.

Jackson is a pure athlete IMO. I'm not 100% sold he should be the QB though. I keep thinking about Bolin under center with Lamar AND Reggie in there at the same time. Imagine the possibilities!!

Bolin is done so quit thinking about him. It's the Reggie and Lamar show moving forward.

I wasn't necessarily thinking about junk plays, but I was thinking about having an actual running game other than the QB and sometimes Reggie.

It's just a dream though. Like mwatson said, Bolin is done. It's all about Lamar and Reggie moving forward.

Not me. The oline might be bad, but a qb that can't take a snap under center, thinks run first, apparently doesn't read the d to avoid blitzes and you have to pray when he throws farther than 15 yards doesn't help.

He deserves to be on the field but I don't think he should be running the offense
