Saw the Grateful Dead at the old Cardinal Stadium. Paid a security guard to let us sneak in.

Saw the Pixies at the UK Student Center. Didn't have tickets and no scalpers. Went to will call to see if they would be putting any late tickets for sale. They weren't but we noticed their will call system was just a bunch of envelopes with a name and number of tickets and they weren't checking id's. Found a guy we knew and paid him to get Jeff Gibson's tickets for us. Kind of feel bad about that. I hope dude got in.

There's a fairgrounds in my home town. They would have some fair events but also have a lot of big shows. At its peak, the calendar year would have a metal show, rap/pop show, and countryfest and a few others..

We'd do everything from cutting holes in the fence to faking wrist bands to finding out what the hand stamp was and recreating it with markers. But I don't think we ever paid to get in for several years.

Me and a friend (both 30 years old) helped a construction worker carry materials into the maintenance entrance on the Jefferson street side of Rupp very early before the sold-out Indiana game on 12/08/81. Dude was cool, as he knew we were going to split once we got inside. It was a standing room only crowd and we watched the game standing from the top of the concourse at one of the endzones. Cats played a great game, especially Minniefield and Master.

I saw Metallica at Riverbend back in the day and a bunch of people knocked down the fence and we rushed in.

I got into many free basketball games when Tubby was coach. My biological father had a friend that would escort Donna Smith in and out of the games and they’d let me come in with them. I just had to stand in the tunnel and couldn’t have a seat until halftime

Okay. The one I mentioned was my first real concert and I heard the same thing about people tearing their way through the fence. I had tickets, though.

It was pretty wild. We were trying to find tickets and about 25 people tried to climb the fence and it went down. It was pretty damn metal.

Red Sox at Wrigley in 2005 or 2006. Weekend sold out once they announced the game. Closely followed a guy in the turnstile and got in. My friend got caught trying the same thing so eventually I came back out to meet him.

Snuck into a couple of Forescastles. Friend gave some cigs to a guy and we crossed the fence by the river.

Lived by Cosmic Charlie’s in Lex and waitied for people to come out and smoke and then would follow them in.

My cousin used to work for a caterer that supplied the food for several suites at the Yum Center. So whenever UK played UL, he still had his old caterers clothing and would put that on and walk right in the service entrance. šŸ˜†
