Howdy neighbor, I’m in Esplanade. Contemplated moving to twin eagles about a year ago, but I’m still working and don’t quite have enough time to play as much golf as I would like. Hopefully that changes in a few years. Summers are rough for us full timers, no doubt about it.

The Lupertazzis' and Sopranos' made a lot of money at the Esplanade with Johnny Sack's.

Sold the company in '04, but lived in Naples for 22 years for health, so far too many operations but still here.
Low temp ever - 41F and high was 93F - summer time humidity can be hard to get used to. Live at Twin Eagles now - great community, quiet and pristine, one course was planned and upgraded by Nicklaus - Over the years, played probably all the courses, but overrun now with too many 'visitors'. Still writing and have one business plan available.
Penn State chapter luncheons - Jan. 20, Feb. 19, Mar 23, Apr. 15 at Bentley Village. Kraft's mother lives here and he visits, BOT Pres and VP both live here in season and attend luncheons. Russ Rose is a regular visitor every year. You would be surprised at the 'trophy homes' and who has private jets parked at Naples airport.

Don't worry about visiting - DeSantis wants to fill every little space with apartments to bring more people and pay sales tax - surplus budget. You will not believe the construction going on when you are here.
It is the island drivers who do not know how to drive, and do not speak English. Even though, many will work very hard and I applaud their ethic. Those who are weekend vacationers from across the Alley, unfortunately think they own the place.

Both great courses. I live two communities down the road from Twin Eagles. It has been a little dry these past two months, but all of the courses seem to be in great shape.

Last March my BIL gets a text that the greens on The Talon course were running 13.5-14… unreal! I have never putted greens that fast… it was a treat!

There is going to be a storm floating around the mid atlantic states on Christmas. Whether its snow or rain is yet to be determined. Something to keep an eye on for now.

I hate the 1" snowfalls every other day. Same amount of salt and slop on the road as a 12" storm.

I do as well. I never know what to do with the damn driveway and seem to end up with a sheet of ice no matter what I do.

If its going to snow, let it rip. Make it worth my while to fire up the snowblower.

Same here. Incidently, we are having our annual Christmas decoration exchange in the neighborhood. 24+ hours of high winds. I have broken decorations. Stuff broke free blowing around. Decorations that arent ours in the yard. Fun stuff.
