At least there's not massive cold air setting in behind it.

If we make it through Saturday we should be alright...Lexington is going to be a mess!!!

Getting ready to go out and see if my generator is working. I try to do this in warmer weather but I put it off to long this year. They're forecasting ice and power outages here in Eastern Ky.

Meijer is the professional shopper's choice today. It was a ghost town while Kroger(s) and Wal*Mart were packed.

Nothing more fun than bar hopping around in a snow-storm. Hopefully you guys have a few watering holes nearby to hole up and enjoy it. We've only gotten about 2 inches so far.

"milquetoast".... that a milk and bread snob? Like an "audiophile?

Because it all Nature's Own whole grain wheat and Kroger brand skim for me, buddy. None of that poor man's ****.
No wonder you can't upgrade your video console .

QFT....I truly think there are more than a few people out there who have no idea that Meijer sells groceries. Have never shopped in there where it was the least bit crowded, snowmaggedon or not, and they have larger selections / options in a lot of food categories than the largest Kroger or Walmart.

Luckily I live close to work because I will probably have to go in until about noon tomorrow, but after that I plan on ordering a few pies from one of Louisvilles finest pizza establishments and sitting home and not doing a damn thing until Monday morn.

I panicked and ran to the store for provisions: a loaf of bread and a twelve pack. On the way home, listening to the radio, I had another panic attack and stopped to buy another 12 pack.
True, but sad, story.

Why do you have a purple wolf in your avatar, bluestripes?

This is Catpaw, take your LSU garbage elsewhere.
Completely off topic...but "Catpaw" or Catspause is actually another site that is in competition with this one. I guess this site will forever be considered "coke" although it is really Pepsi or R.C.

I imagine Wal-Mart looked like Black Friday.

As soon as someone mentions "snow", all of a sudden it's Y2K all over again and everyone freaks out for bread, milk and canned goods.
