They were absolutely horrible when he played. They actually found some rhythm and were a decent team once he shut it down. I can’t imagine Cal would actually play Boogie. This must be some bizarre situation I don’t understand

Well, Fland himself wasn’t the reason. He’s a great player but him going out IS why they improved. Wagner was playing shooting guard (
that’s funny just typing it) and Z wasn’t playing at ALL. Davis was coming off the bench and was lost in what his role was and was playing horrible.
Theiro is who you want, I think Fland will ruin your good chemistry the short lineup has had, not to mention the defense. The biggest obstacle is overcoming Cal’s nerves, if your first round matchup doesn’t wilt pretty fast he will get super tight and so will the team.

Sounds like the season was down the drain…Boogie Flands team shut it down to protect draft stock and prevent injury…now they want to play in the tournament. He’ll come back, Wagner will play the 2, one of brazille/Z minutes get severely limited, and Arkansas gets bounced game 1
If I were Cal, even though Fland may be their best player, I would bring him off the bench (say 10min for Davis and 10 for Wagner) since they played better as a team without him.
Arkansas is already in. They have been listed as first 4 byes and not last 4 in. Unc isn't getting in over Arkansas.
Im just saying Cal might be worried about it and the head of the selection committee is UNC's AD. wouldnt be the first time UNC cheated.

I knew the offense would run better without Boogie. His last five games he was taking close to twenty shots per. ****** shot selection. Right inside three point line early in the clock. He's said that he didn't want to ruin team chemistry. He was arguably one of best distributors in the league, I think Cal gave him too long of leash and spread the floor for Boogie on every play. Thus a ball stopper.
If he buys in, shoots less and distributes, it's a win. If not, it could be a disaster.
Probably, but the NET rankings have: UNC 36, Texas 39 and Arkansas 40. It certainly wouldn’t be beyond belief if the Hogs were left out
