Kinda stinky downtown.

Damn hippies are ruining it.

Food was great though.

Where did you stay? I hope you got out of the city and enjoyed the Rocky Mountains.

I was blocks from the convention center, and unfortunately never had a free moment to enjoy the sights. The area around the convention center has some great spots, but the homeless and hippies kinda drag it down some.

It was funny walking around and occasionally getting the strong whiff of pot.

Never quite figured out the homeless in Denver; too cold in winter.

We have a big Southeast Asian community in Denver. Great for the restaurant scene, but if there is a place less like Southeast Asia than Denver, I don’t know where it would be.

Lots of very good places to eat at about any price point. GB Fish is great for the money. Alameda x Federal has lots of Asian and Mexican fare. The Empress is great for Dimsum.

You joke, but my sales guy was walking to the convention center Wednesday morning and almost stepped in some human **** that was streaked on the sidewalk.

Food prices were very reasonable, and some of the micro breweries had some good beer. I ate like a champ all week really, not a single bad meal.

Aside from attending a Manufacturer's party where they had a Motley Crue cover band, I was either in training or in sessions all day. And the day we flew in... it was kinda hazy and never got a good look at the mountains. :(

You should plan your tax deductible work trips better.

If I didn't have to go to Houston next week, I would have stayed this week for more "training".

The band had to be worth the trip...did they play anything by John Corabi, or was it all Vince Neil?

All Vince Neil. They were actually really good. I was surprised at how close they sounded to the real deal.
