I could have sworn I heard a collective "Damn it" come from outside the Big Blue Nation as the 2nd OT came to an end.

OP, not sure I get your point. The "Skating on thin ice" is actually a pretty good description of UK's last two games. As long as you are still "Skating" then you are above the ice. Thin ice is dangerous in that it can break, the "ice" in this narrative is an undefeated season. UK has had two close calls and could have easily lost one or both...but they didn't thus they are still skating.

Tend to agree. 18 to 20 point spreads on the two and need ot and 2 ot to put them away. A win is a win. Listen to Cal after the game. "We're not a very good team right now" to paraphrase. Emphasis on team.. Selfish play, not tough.

Beating a good ND team on their court is a little more impressive than beating A&M on theirs. I dont worry much about the headlines, only the outcomes.

I never do understand all the hating towards ESPN. ESPN loves Kentucky. There camera light shines bright on us it always does. Two overtime games to Midling SEC teams is definitely skating on thin ice. It was a pretty good analogy.

ESPN is in the business of generating traffic and viewership. Negative spin on Kentucky is red meat for the masses. I will say that they protect their precious UNC and Duke at all costs however.

Part of the headline game is what gets hits, what do people want to read, hear?

People aren't as excited about hearing Virginia lost. Kentucky losing though--we're Darth Vader.

Everyone talking 40-0, if it did happen these are the type games you have to win. Games we should have maybe lost but gutted it out for a W. There is a reason it has not happened for so long.

If the team regains the kind of energy it had before the extended break, you won't have to worry about ESPN's headlines. You probably weren't complaining about their headlines prior to the two great escapes. I think they were spot on with their headline.

Pretty early in 2015 to have to put someone on the 'ignore' list but, enough is enough.
Mods, how 'bout a max font size limit?

I'm confused. When did we lose?

I've seen this same guy start 5-6 threads himself in one hour. Not sure what this is about.

Enough of clutter. I embrace the clutter. We all should. If we lose we lose, if we don't.....well now that's a different story all together. I love the response of the media. Considering we're looking pretty good now in light of what is getting ready to happen to Duke.

Perhaps it is complimentary of Ky's skillset saying that KY should not be on the ice in the first place.

ESPN Headline...

"Highly underrated Wolfpack squeak past Duke and star freshman Okafor"
