Yeah, I think back to what Florida looked like last year and OU kind of mirror's that a little right now. One thing we got going for us is our new coach will be at every practice and at the game. It's a great opportunity for those on the team now to get a leg up and impress their position coaches.

Snagged these off Facebook. I wonder what they are thinking?
I believe its from a recent practice perhaps. Lebby and Venables.

I've heard that BV will be on the Clemson sidelines watching Tyler play in Clemson's bowl game. Stoops is coaching the game against Oregon.
In this case, my analysis still stands. Bob will run the ball knowing that that's the recipe to victory. LR has a bit of that Kingsbury and Leech blood that makes him want to throw the ball even when running the ball is the ideal call against a defense.

Hard game to predict.
If OU plays as it has during the season, Oregon wins.
If OU plays as we think it will under Stoops....that is, plays well....OU has a chance. This is a bigger game for OU than it is for Oregon as OU wants to rebound from the dirty diaper left by Riley. The best revenge for OU is to win this game and gain some momentum for 2022.

How many players are not going to be unavailable? For OU and Oregon? That could make a difference one way or the other.

Some of the coaches that are leaving are staying on to coach the Alamo Bowl. I give them credit for that and so does Stoops.

One thing this game will hopefully reveal is how OU is changing its football philosophy in getting away from the listless, stagnating way it performed during the season, under a coach that clearly had taken his foot off the accelerator in prepping the team and having his players play better with each game.
I think OU has pushed all the right buttons following Riley's exit.....hiring a Hall of Fame coach to take over bowl game preparation while getting a solid new coach and staff to focus on yet another good recruiting haul.
Once again, as he did after the 1998 season, Bob Stoops comes to OU's rescue big time !

50/50 with no pressure on either team and nothing to really lose - look for Oklahoma to play loose and take a LOT of chances - the kids will have fun...

We should win - but it will likely be a shootout. but a fun bowl game nonetheless.

One of the premier organizations in the NFL, with only 3 head coaches the last 50 years, and the model of consistency? Yeah I am feeling bad for you. BTW I am a Cowboy fan; wanna trade 🤣
You have a good QB when healthy. We cannot draft nor develop QB's for sh$t in recent years. Ben's arm\shoulder will be hanging by a tendon any day and the backups have never showed up. We also draft head cases at WR. Gifted on the field but more than three seasons they pollute as much or more than they execute.
