I've been losing interest in sports for awhile, this simply reinforces it.
I havent watched an NFL game in two years....this year I dont anticipate watching WVU, unless convenient.
I agree!! Gave up on pro sports 3 or 4 years ago but always hoped it would never leak into college, and of course it has over the past few months. It’s sad.
All interest is gone in professional sports. My interest in WVU athletics is hanging by a thread. If our players come out and pull the same stunt as their pro counterparts, I'm done.
I'm done with sports until they grow up. It will be hard not to read the wins/losses for WVU, but they aint getting no demographics from me, or a dime of my money. Pro sports have been heading that way a while so I already stopped watching them. Now it has crept into the WVU campus, and thats it for me. The Koenning firing lost my interest.

They became over-saturated. Every game on TV, 24/7 highlights, dumb talking head shows...they went from something you couldn't get enough of to something you cant get away from.

I'm holding onto WVU for sentimental reasons only...MLB, NBA, NFL flat out sucked before this BS, even worse now. I'm done. The one postive part of the Virus was the suspension of sports...who really missed the NBA? MLB? Who gives a ****??
It seems that immediate credibility is given to any complaint by a black player against a white coach without any evaluation of the truthfulness or seriousness of the charge - coaches yell. Why? Because people respond to being yelled at - they work to get better. Does it hurt some feelings? Yes indeed, but it works. It makes players better.
