So If You're One of Those 300 Recruits at the Game

The atmosphere was electric tonight. If they were only going to come to UK based on wins and losses, you weren't coming anyway. Would have loved a win but can't see how that atmosphere and a last second three point loss would turn a recruit off.

Great game to be visiting.

Best crowd and environment.

Players can see we are better but have room for improvement and early playing time is available for very good talent.

I'm not celebrating a moral victory, but as far as the recruits are concerned, I would think that an electric atmosphere like that with a close win to a name program is better than a lot of scenarios. I can't imagine they had a positive impression.

I'd be much more concerned if we looked uncompetitive or if the crowd was bland.

I would say, it looks like they need help and I think I can help, playing time means a lot.

If I'm a WR, QB or pass catching TE, I'm looking elsewhere. If I play any other position, I'm hyped up. The recruits aren't KY fans, they're kids. They've not had this team rip their hearts out for decades on end. They saw a big time atmosphere, elite facilities, a competitive game, and PT available everywhere but OL.

The loss and final drive rolled off them before they made it to the parking lot.
