Watched them twice live, against Western Illinois and Nebraska. Admittedly, have not seen them much more than that. Don't have the greatest desire to watch them on the telly over other teams. And playing Western Illinois doesn't really give you much.

My thoughts against Nebraska were that they did not look particularly strong on defense, and that could help our offensive challenged team.

Don't see us, without Buie, being able to win a game, unless we keep the other team in the low 60's. Just don't see us having the fire power to score in the 70's.

So, personally, hoping CC decides to go with man to man and that our height causes trouble for them. Unless we get into foul trouble, don't see the need to risk zone defense. Our starting five with Beran places 4 players on the court with lateral moving deficiencies, prone to being beaten off the dribble. But Indiana is a top team nationally in offensive rebounds. And our zone just plain sucks.

I am, somehow, and as always, hopeful we can pull off the upset.

We have way more talent than you guys do. But this Indiana team can’t hit a shot outside of 8 feet. So offense has been hard to come by for us. Rebounding wise though, we’ve been awesome.

If you play M2M against Indiana, it will get ugly. Our two best players are post players. IUs guards can drive around people in M2M. Zone would be NWs best option. We can’t shoot from 3.

Agree with this assessment. I watched Indiana against Arkansas, and the Hoosiers undoing was not being able to hit 3's, I would start with zone. I don't think we have the athletes to play M2M for long stretches against them. Here's hoping IU underestimates us like they did last year. Classic holiday season trap game (I'm sure they were pumped to play Maryland and they have a big game after us at OSU).

I think this Indiana team is better than last seasons, but it’s still a far cry from where they should probably be. Middle of the pack Big Ten team AT BEST.
