I thought Loyola was suppose to be a good team this year and that tomorrow's game would be a challenge. Then I found out that our opponent is Loyola Md and that they are a Miss Valley State pushover. So this is pretty much just going to be a scrimmage.

What kind of basketball fan doesn't know the difference between Loyola Chicago and Loyola (MD)? Anyway, give Loyola MD some credit; they aren't a great team, but they're not Miss Valley State bad. And if you recall, a much worse Chicago State team nearly took us to the wire last December.

Uh, Mississippi Valley state is ranked LAST (#351) in KenPom. Every team is better than them; Loyola Maryland is nearly 100 spots higher at #257. We should win to be certain, but this is nowhere near the cakewalk MVSU would be.
