Well most coaches knew that Bobby 1.0 liked to throw in some razzle dazzle but since the option pass pick of LJ against Auburn in Chick-fil-a kickoff game, not so much. I don’t think you can gimmick Saban.

)Watch for a pass from Tutu to Puma. I really expect Bobby to try to spread the field and try to run the ball, but nothing is easy against Bama.
New QB, probably a handoff, some kind of sweep or up the middle. Perhaps a screen. Nothing crazy.
First play, probably take a knee. Second play, wish bone sweep right. 3 rd play. Take a knee then go for the field goal boys on the 4th play.
I expect the first series to include several short passes to the flats or slants to utilize some of our speed guys. I agree about BP spreading the field.
I'm expecting to see Pass attempting to get rid of the ball fairly quickly.
You have to expect that BP will take at least one shot down the field during the first series. A shot down field on the first play from scrimmage is somewhat predictable with BP.
Over/Under on false starts on the first series is 2.5. I'm thinking we see at least 2 false starts on the first series. Just hoping they do not cut the drive short or continue throughout the game.

These false starts are actually very important. 1st and 15 is very tough against Bama.
Seems like we've all been around too long b/c there is great consensus here. I think that Bobby goes read option first play b/c it's the one thing that the Bama D has absolutely been coached to predictably respond. It will suck the LB's up closer to the line of scrimmage. Then I agree with many of the other posters that he goes with a TE crossing behind the LB's on a play action or Dez does a skinny post to get behind them. There will definitely be moving pockets and spreading the field throughout the game.
But with Bobby, the best prediction is that he does the opposite of what we expect. So the first series will be interesting. I think that we score unless penalties come into play.

I'll take under, lol. Seriously, I am gonna be positive about this issue. I have to believe the coaching changes and the players' belief that they have to play a near perfect game, will have the o-line on their toes.
And Louisville has a new center this year. Remember last year, Robbie Bell's first start at center and his ~10 false start penalties?
