What's everyone's take?

I've been seeing more and more posts in various social media outlets suggesting this is the Deep State's run at testing the applicability of better tracing/tracking through satellites (phones) and AI/video surveillance (similar to that used in China). Getting us 6 feet apart aids in all of that, so this was/is sort of a national beta test.

Given the massive over reaction to this virus, I do feel like this whole circus has been both a test (for tweaking/optimizing toward upcoming "events") as well as a mechanism to take away rights (either temporarily or permanently) alongside a litmus of seeing how the country responds to "emergency orders" being enforced without legislation (basically seeing how far we'll bend before we break and revolt).

Curries for everyone stance on this whole fiasco.

My reaction? I don't have the words to describe my reaction to this entire HOAX of a reaction. We have been brainwashed in to believing everything because of the suppression of alternative theories, researches, etc.

I believe this virus has been trumped up , but to what extent?

Social distancing outside is worthless. We have golf courses that have removed rakes, don't allow any guests and you ride one per cart. Absolute stupidity when considering that there's been no transmission of the virus while outside . Inside, makes a little more sense but the bad part is over and we know how to treat people and it's time to get on with the rest of our lives. Time for the nanny state ninnies to go away.

We aren't allowed to remove the flag at the course. And that stupid foam in the cup prevented me from having a chip in eagle on a par 4 last week.

I think the one per cart rule has been great. More cooler room. Quicker rounds.

Not for income purposes. Two per cart increases income. Several weeks ago, we usually walk front and ride the back since we have a hilly course, we came around and we were out of carts at 11:30. We have 54 carts. We actually rode two to a cart that day. You aren't going to catch anything riding in a cart with somebody else. Another nanny rule

We turned our cups upside down, no foam in ours, and the ball goes into the cup. Sits up about a 1/4. Works great.

I wouldn't be so sure about income. Quicker rounds means more people. Better experience means coming back more often. Sounds your club needs to buy more or you old f*cks need to walk more.

And I wouldn't be so authoritative that no spreading of the disease occurs outdoors. That's as silly as locking ourselves away from everything forever.

The Republicans control the Executive, Supreme Court, and half the Congress. Sounds like you’re blaming them for creating this Orwellian vision you have.

Quite the opposite, I believe it to be the Rockefeller's, Rothschilds, Gates, Soros, et al with Fauci, Democrats, and a couple dozen agency roaches hopping in for opportunistic gain to unwittingly usher the agenda to the front of the class. I'm hoping Barr's actions and the subpoenas will short circuit the billionaire puppeteers' gamesmanship sooner, rather than later.

1. We have a hilly course. I would imagine you've played the Cascades course. It's flat compared to ours. 54 carts = 108 players which is all you can reasonable get on a course at the same time for a shot gun start. We have plenty of carts. Outside is safer than inside.

DING DING DING! Exactly. And every week it seems like the CDC is either changing its opinion on something or coming up with new symptoms or disorders that they say are caused by this "virus".

Breaking News: CDC reports that Covid may be able to enter through your ears and hair follicles. Long term complications of cancer, aids, and hemorrhoids are possible due to Covid 19 exposure. The CDC also stated that if you are exposed to the virus you are 128% more likely to be abducted by aliens. Stay home. Stay safe.

I swear how after about 3 months of understanding this virus from the scientific and medical experts (if one wants to accept it, for the whackos that deny there is even a virus, they are a waste of time) there are some basic facts that all should know by now.
1. The virus is most often spread by human to human contact and could be on a surface from the infected person to the subject.
2. The virus being spread as discussed in #1 is by the liquid droplets coming from the nose or mouth of the infected person. This is why symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals should wear a mask unless they are quarantined in their own environment. Everywhere else, they should have a mask. It may not catch all droplets but it is huge to keep the virus contained as much as possible.
3. Healthy individuals should be just fine unless they come in contact with the living virus somehow. A very common manner is picking it off a surface from the result of an infected person being around with their droplets and getting into their bodies. This is why washing of hands is tremendously important.
4. The virus will die quicker on surfaces that are exposed to certain light which is why outdoor activities are safer. But the virus can and will be spread outdoors as just being outdoors is not a complete safe environment.
5. Keeping distance between each other will help prevent the spread of person to person infection. But again, it is not a completely safety measure in itself.

I'd wear your *** out on a golf course you whipper snapper! Not sure if we but or lease them. Our cart barn probably only has room for 60 anyway. That's a lot of carts

Republicans control things now and this is happening now. Why aren’t the doing something about this? Maybe this is just another attempt to divert attention from Trump’s total failure as a leader. Dunning-Kruger effect.

You are correct. Every time a cure or action arrives to correct a symptom of the virus a new and more serious symptom is announced in an attempt to slow reentry into more normal behavior..Question is just who does closing the work force benefit....
