Runs were scarce in the Cats series-clinching win over No. 8 LSU, but key hits from senior Brooklin Hinz and a dandy of a pitching performance from sophomore Autumn Humes secured a tight, 2-0 victory. The Cats will go for the sweep later today at 5:30 P.M., the game will be televised on the SEC Network.

Cats get a sacrifice fly and a 3 run hr from Abby Cheeck to lead 4-0 in b1st with one on and one out.

Rain delay. UK’s coach was angry on the call. All they needed was 3 more outs for an official game and a sweep over #8

Was a garbage call bc the field was still very much playable when they delayed it...and there were no visibility issues. Bizarre for the umpiring crew to do so. LSU was cheering and laughing coming off the field after convincing umpires to delay.

The grounds crew had the field ready to go and then the conference office called the game. Bizarre night over at JCS.
