OSU took a 2-0 lead with runs in the second and third. OU fought back with three in the third. Then, there was the fifth. OU scored seven in the fifth to run-rule OSU in 5.

Knighten hit her team-leading seventh home run with a runner on, 5-2. It was a line drive that I didn't think ever got high enough to go over the fence. It was hit so hard that it just kept going and cleared the left center field fence.

Self lined a big three-run shot to the opposite field. It was a sure thing off the bat, a long one. 8-2. It was her second.

Erin came up with a runner on first and lined a long, long drive over the right field fence for a walk-off 10-2 win.

Paige wasn't as sharp as usual, but won easily..

Comebacks in conference play----OU trailed Kansas 2-0 after six and a half innings at Marita Hynes Field. We had, according to the announcers, left ten runners on base, a common theme in our losses this year.

We began the seventh with a chop to third by Kelsey. But, the third baseman threw it wildly past first, and the right fielders missed it as it went by. Kelsey scored on an inside-the-park error (actually two errors were assessed). 2-1.

Erin walked. Sydney singled up the middle, our first hit with a runner on base all night. Shay popped to shallow left. Lea walked. Caleigh Clifton, a freshman from Wayne who grew up wanting to play for OU and hung around the park all the time, came up with the bases loaded and one out. Just a walk or even a ground ball to tie it would be enough. On a 3-1 count, she hit her first home run of her career over the right field fence, a walk-off grand slam. 5-2. Parker with the win.
