gave me an uneasy feeling that he was in a bit over his head:

He took down the display wall of NBA players that Cal coached that made it to the NBA. This was a super knee-jerk reaction to Cal's tenure that kinda gives high ranking recruits the impression that this is NOT the place for you. I get he wanted to separate himself from the one and done but a better idea would have been to add the 100 or so other pros that UK had placed in the league throughout the years. This foreshadowed his recruiting strategies and shortcomings.

He just took them out of the practice facility and renovated. They were moved to another area. They’re all over Rupp in the tunnels. I’m there quite often, it’s all murals to those UK greats. This was all misleading information. We renovated the practice facility and put up #9 banners. I guess they could have been kept there but most of that was simply moved.

Yep and their mugs are displayed on the jumbo tron at Rupp before every home game still.

Look, I'm as pissed as anyone about the state of things right now- but I wouldn't be surprised if we see a thread that Pope is actually Illuminati and that's why everything is awful at this point.

The Murican culture and even this fan base is that unhinged at the moment.
